I am very grateful for the excellent response provided by Lynx Networks when the Council had a break in a fibre cable linking one of their main office buildings

Richard was very helpful when I contacted him over the Bank Holiday weekend and thanks to his prompt action and Simon’s willingness to pull a new cable through himself, disruption to staff working in the building was kept to a minimum. Sincere thanks.

We had a major communications failure overnight on the link in to our IT centre. In theory, all of the divisions should now be down and we should be cut-off from the Internet. The good news is that the disaster recovery back-up communications network designed by Lynx Networks kicked in seamlessly and no one saw any disruption. At lunch time the main network came back online and the networked changed over. Again this was seamless and no employee noticed anything.
